I am a blogger and an aspiring fiction writer. I am currently writing a pulp-inspired novella and have plans to write a series of medieval fantasy novels.
In college, I studied philosophy, and I have always been fascinated by the way art can communicate complex philosophical concepts in a way that can be understood and appreciated by the average person. I have witnessed this in film, literature, and video games. I have always wanted to write about the profound philosophical concepts I have noticed in these works of fiction.
I would say that my favorite fictional franchises are the Star Wars film saga, the Halo video game series, and the novels of J.R.R. Tolkien. Of course, there are many other excellent franchises that I intend to write about as well.
